Inspire Apps is a modular school management application suite developed and operated by InspireHub. InspireHub is responsible for the operation, maintenance, support, and continuing development of Inspire Apps.
This Privacy Policy explains how InspireHub collects, uses, stores, protects, and manages information when schools and their authorized administrators, teachers, staff, students, parents or guardians, and other users access Inspire Apps and its connected services.
Inspire Apps may be accessed through services associated with inspirehubph.com, including the application at app.inspirehubph.com.
Inspire Apps is a modular school management application suite designed to support educational, administrative, assessment, reporting, communication, and school-operation workflows.
Schools may subscribe to different applications or modules according to their needs.
Inspire Apps is under active development. Additional applications, features, integrations, and services may be introduced over time.
Current or future applications may support functions such as:
student information management;
attendance and campus entry or exit management;
resource and device lending;
assessment and test creation;
reading assessment and progress monitoring;
curriculum and instructional support;
academic reporting and analysis;
behavior and guidance;
school activities and field trips;
communication and content management;
document and report generation;
user and role administration;
Google Workspace integrations;
and other school-management functions.
The availability of individual applications depends on the subscribing school's plan, configuration, role assignments, and user permissions.
Adding a new Inspire Apps module does not automatically authorize InspireHub to collect additional personal information or Google user data. Information is processed only when reasonably necessary to provide the relevant feature.
Inspire Apps may process account information necessary to operate the platform, including:
name;
email address;
school or organization;
user role;
account status;
assigned applications;
permissions and access settings;
authentication-related information;
platform preferences and configuration information.
Passwords handled through authentication services are not displayed to school administrators through Inspire Apps.
Authorized schools may use Inspire Apps to create, maintain, and manage educational or administrative records.
Depending on the applications used by the school, this may include:
student name;
student ID;
enrollment information;
grade or year level;
birthday;
sex;
student status;
photographs;
family-related administrative information;
club or activity assignments;
attendance information;
campus entry and exit records;
tardiness and absence information;
resource or device-loan records;
assessment information;
reading or academic progress information;
reports;
school-generated documents;
and other information intentionally entered by authorized school personnel.
Not every school or Inspire Apps module uses every category listed above.
The subscribing school determines which school and student information is entered into Inspire Apps and which authorized users may access it.
Inactive, withdrawn, graduated, or historical student records may remain in the Student Information System when legitimately required for educational, administrative, reporting, or recordkeeping purposes.
Inspire Apps may generate operational information through normal use of the platform, including:
transaction records;
timestamps;
attendance movements;
administrative actions;
reports;
application settings;
document references;
audit information;
system activity information.
This information is used to operate, secure, maintain, and administer Inspire Apps.
Certain Inspire Apps features may allow an authorized user to connect a Google account or Google Workspace account.
Google Workspace integration is optional unless a particular workflow requires it.
When a user chooses to connect Google Workspace, Inspire Apps requests access only to Google services and information reasonably necessary to provide the feature selected by the user.
Depending on the functionality authorized by the user, this may include access to:
basic Google account information, such as email address and profile information;
Google Drive information necessary to create, locate, access, or update files;
Google Docs used for user-requested documents, assessments, reports, or school materials;
Google Sheets used for authorized reports, exports, or school workflows;
file IDs, document titles, links, or related metadata required to associate Inspire Apps records with Google Workspace files.
Future Inspire Apps modules may also integrate with Google Workspace where the functionality is clearly disclosed and the user authorizes the required access.
InspireHub does not request Google Workspace permissions merely because an application or module exists.
Information received through Google APIs is used only to provide, maintain, or support user-facing Inspire Apps functionality selected or authorized by the user or subscribing school.
Google user data may be used to:
identify the connected Google account;
create a Google Doc requested by a user;
create or update an assessment or school document;
create a Google Sheet requested for an authorized export;
associate an Inspire Apps record with a Google Workspace file;
reconnect to a previously created or selected file;
display the user's Google Workspace connection status;
perform other Google Workspace actions explicitly initiated or authorized by the user.
Google user data is not used for unrelated purposes.
InspireHub does not use Google user data for:
targeted advertising;
personalized advertising;
advertising profiling;
retargeting;
data-broker activities;
selling personal information;
unrelated marketing;
credit, lending, insurance, or employment decisions;
training generalized or foundational artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
InspireHub's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Some Inspire Apps features may create or update files in a user's connected Google Workspace account.
For example, an authorized user may request Inspire Apps to create or update a Google Doc or Google Sheet related to an assessment, report, export, or other school workflow.
Where applicable, these files remain in the user's or organization's Google Drive.
Inspire Apps may store limited information required to reconnect to such files, including:
Google file ID;
file name or title;
document link;
file type;
related Inspire Apps record identifier;
other necessary file metadata.
InspireHub does not claim ownership of files owned by users or subscribing organizations in their Google Drive.
Disconnecting Inspire Apps from Google does not automatically delete files already created in a user's Google Drive.
Google Workspace connections are established through Google's authorization services.
Inspire Apps may process authorization credentials or tokens necessary to maintain the authorized Google Workspace connection.
Such authorization information is retained only as necessary to provide the authorized functionality and is handled through appropriate technical safeguards.
Users may revoke Inspire Apps access through their Google Account security or permissions settings.
When access is revoked, Inspire Apps will no longer use that authorization to make new Google API requests.
Previously created Google Drive, Docs, or Sheets files may remain in the user's Google account until the user chooses to delete them.
Inspire Apps uses cloud infrastructure to provide its services.
Depending on the feature, this may include:
Firebase Authentication;
Cloud Firestore;
Firebase Storage;
Firebase Hosting;
Google Cloud infrastructure;
Google Workspace APIs.
These services may process or store information required to operate Inspire Apps, including account information, school records, student records, application settings, photographs, operational records, reports, files, and document references.
Access is controlled through mechanisms such as:
authentication;
school context;
user roles;
application permissions;
module access;
database security rules;
storage security rules.
Inspire Apps is designed around school-specific and role-based access controls.
Users normally receive access according to:
their assigned school;
their role;
applications enabled for the school;
individual or role-based permissions.
Authorized school administrators may determine which applications and functions are available to users within their organization.
Platform-level administrators from InspireHub may access a school environment when reasonably necessary for authorized administration, configuration, technical support, maintenance, troubleshooting, or security.
Such access does not permit InspireHub to use school information for unrelated purposes.
Inspire Apps is designed for use by educational organizations and their authorized users.
Student records are generally entered, managed, and controlled by the subscribing school.
InspireHub does not sell student information.
InspireHub does not use student information for targeted advertising.
Schools are responsible for using Inspire Apps in accordance with applicable educational, privacy, parental-consent, student-record, and data-protection requirements relevant to their organization and jurisdiction.
Requests involving school-controlled student records may be referred to the appropriate school administrator.
InspireHub does not sell personal information, student information, or Google user data.
Information may be processed by infrastructure or service providers necessary to operate Inspire Apps, including providers of:
authentication;
hosting;
databases;
file storage;
security;
communications;
Google Workspace functionality.
Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary:
to provide a service requested by the user;
to provide services to a subscribing school;
with appropriate authorization;
to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or technical problems;
to comply with applicable laws or legal obligations;
to protect the security or integrity of InspireHub, Inspire Apps, subscribing schools, or users.
Google user data will not be transferred for advertising, profiling, data-broker, or other purposes prohibited by applicable Google API policies.
InspireHub personnel do not routinely inspect private Google Workspace files.
Human access to Google user data may occur only when reasonably necessary and permitted, such as:
when a user or school specifically requests technical support;
when necessary to investigate a security incident;
when necessary to prevent fraud or abuse;
when required by applicable law;
when otherwise authorized by the user or organization.
Any such access is limited to what is reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.
InspireHub retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
provide Inspire Apps services;
maintain authorized school records;
preserve legitimate historical information;
support security and auditing;
meet contractual requirements;
comply with applicable legal obligations.
Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information and the requirements of the subscribing school.
Historical student records may remain after a student becomes inactive, withdrawn, or graduated where the school has a legitimate educational or administrative need to retain those records.
Google authorization information is retained only for as long as necessary to maintain the authorized connection or meet legitimate legal, technical, or security requirements.
Authorized users may be able to update information directly through Inspire Apps according to their assigned permissions.
Users or subscribing schools may request assistance with matters such as:
correcting inaccurate account information;
changing user access;
disconnecting Google Workspace;
deactivating an account;
deleting eligible account information;
understanding how information is processed.
For school-controlled educational records, requests may be referred to the subscribing school.
Users may request deletion of eligible Inspire Apps account information by contacting InspireHub or the appropriate school administrator.
Some information may need to be retained where the subscribing school has a legitimate educational, administrative, contractual, security, or legal requirement.
Deleting an Inspire Apps account does not automatically delete Google Docs, Sheets, or other files previously created in the user's Google Drive.
Users may manage those files directly through their Google account.
Users may also separately revoke Inspire Apps access through their Google Account permissions.
InspireHub uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, loss, or disclosure.
Measures may include:
secure authentication;
HTTPS encryption;
role-based permissions;
school-specific access controls;
application access controls;
Firebase and Google Cloud security services;
database and storage security rules;
restricted administrative access;
operational security safeguards.
No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security. InspireHub nevertheless works to restrict information to authorized users, schools, and systems.
InspireHub does not sell Google user data, student information, or school information.
Google Workspace API information is not used for:
personalized advertising;
behavioral advertising;
retargeting;
advertising profiles;
data-broker services;
unrelated commercial profiling.
Information is used to provide the Inspire Apps features selected by users and subscribing schools.
Current or future Inspire Apps modules may include artificial intelligence, automation, analytics, or other advanced technologies.
The availability of such features does not automatically authorize InspireHub to use private Google Workspace information for artificial-intelligence model training.
Google Workspace API user data obtained through Google APIs is not used to create, train, or improve generalized or foundational artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
Where a user-directed feature uses artificial intelligence or another automated service, information will be processed only as reasonably necessary to provide the disclosed feature and in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.
Inspire Apps is an evolving modular application suite.
InspireHub may introduce additional applications, features, integrations, and school-management capabilities over time.
Before introducing functionality that materially changes how personal information or Google user data is collected, used, stored, transferred, or shared, InspireHub will evaluate whether additional notices, permissions, policy updates, or user authorization are required.
Adding a new Inspire Apps module does not provide unrestricted access to existing user information.
If a future module materially changes InspireHub's data-handling practices, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
InspireHub may update this Privacy Policy as Inspire Apps develops or when legal requirements, integrations, or information-handling practices change.
The current version will be published on this page and identified by its Last Updated date.
Material changes involving Google user data will continue to comply with applicable Google API requirements and any required user authorization.
